The enclosed transcript is taken from Problems Solutions Innovations’ CRV training manual. When creating the manual, I wanted to base the training on a real session. I went through old sessions to find the one which was most "textbook". That is, the one which not only followed the Ingo Swann structure most closely, but also had all the normal mistakes in all the most common places.
Since Ingo Swann has made a blanket request that absolutely no one use his terminology, Ingo Swann terminology and abbreviations have been changed to those in use by Problems Solutions Innovations (PSI). The original session was handwritten, and this session has been transcribed, with the sketches and drawings taken from the original session. These are the only differences between the session used in PSI’s CRV training manual and the original session.
This is an imperfect, but real CRV session. It was performed on the 12th of December, 1988, with no monitor. Therefore, there was no monitor "leading", and no access to the feedback picture for several days. The feedback picture was in an envelope which had been chosen at random from among a stack of such envelopes, so the person doing the tasking was also blind to the target.
Throughout PSI’s training course, the student learns both the proper methods and the most common mistakes which beset the controlled remote viewer. For example, in this session, a mistake was made by the person who originally wrote the frontloading onto the envelope. The frontloading said "The target is a manmade…." It should not have included the word "a", since that provided me with information that the target was a singular item. It should have said simply, "The target is manmade.". Throughout the session, other mistakes were made in form, format, structure, and protocols. Those are also covered in the CRV course conducted by PSI, in order to educate the student on proper CRV methodology.
As should be expected, the transcript is only what got written down on paper, and is therefore the "tip of the iceberg" of all the viewing which actually went on during the session. It should not be used as a primer or sole learning aid, and you should understand that you cannot properly learn Controlled Remote Viewing by reading through, or even by studying this session.
This session is the copyrighted property of Problems Solutions Innovations, but is hereby placed on a restricted basis into the public domain in its present form only for the purpose of allowing the public to see what a real CRV session "looks like". Copying this session or parts of this session into for-profit manuals, books, or any other for-profit form of literature or communications is strictly forbidden, and will violate copyright laws. Permission to use this session either in part or in whole must be obtained from Problems Solutions Innovations, on a case-by-case basis in order to avoid violation of copyright laws.
THE EXAMPLES IN THIS MANUAL
The session excerpts shown in the examples throughout this manual come from an actual session performed on December 12, 1988 by Lyn Buchanan. This session was selected from hundreds of others because it was most indicative of the proper structure, but also contains the most commonly made errors, problems, and pitfalls. The target frontloading given at the beginning of the session was:
"The target is a manmade. Describe the target."
This was followed by the following "coordinates":
881212
000001
No other information was given. The object of the session was to describe the manmade, which was featured in a picture placed in a sealed envelope. That picture is as shown here.
Although the session did not go into all the many facets of CRV work, especially the more complex parts of Phase 6, it does contain examples of most of the tools you will be using as you learn Controlled Remote Viewing.

INTERIM SUMMARY: The "pointed area" at the site is a big manmade monument with a European or French feel to it. It has a square bottom and tapers upward to a point in the middle at the top, with the sides curving inward as it goes up. It is made of some sort of open construction and when looked at from the side, is composed of lines crisscrossing it. It is open and you can see the sky through it, between the crisscrossing lines. It appears tall, black against the sky, and thin. It is old-timey. Its purpose is political, historic, and "touristy" in nature. People at the site feel a sense of awe, but also a sense of being on vacation. My impression of the place is that I like it.

FINAL SUMMARY:
The target is a location with a manmade and land. The manmade is pointed on top.
It is a big manmade monument with a European or French feel to it. It is red and blue in color. It has a square bottom and tapers upward to a point in the middle at the top, with the sides curving inward as it goes up. It is made of some sort of open construction and when looked at from the side, is composed of lines crisscrossing it. It is open and you can see the sky through it, between the crisscrossing lines. It appears tall, black against the sky, and thin.It is old-timey. Its purpose is political, historic, and "touristy" in nature. People at the site feel a sense of awe, but also a sense of being on vacation. My impression of the place is that I like it.
It is centrally located in an area which has massive buildings some distance to the northeast. These buildings are made of beige, stone-like material and have a governmental feel.
A short distance directly to the north is located some
cool, flowing, dirty and very bad smelling water. The water is bounded in some way, like a river with definite or manmade sides.Moving
back through time, I found a period in the mid 1900’s when there were loud, explosive sounds, sirens, the smell of smoke and lots of panic and terror on the part s of the people there. It felt like it was a time of war.Moving back further through time, I found a period in the late 1700’s when there were clanging sounds, a cold, windy feeling, all connected to the tall, pointed manmade. It seemed new at that time, as though under construction. I got the impressions of people standing around looking at it, some with feelings of vertigo, some looking at it with amusement, and some shaking their heads and saying, "What a waste of money!" Many felt that it was a senseless endeavor, but there were some very valid political and construction (economic) reasons for it.
It is a tower and a landmark.
